Will I get a certification?

After participating in the PAL-E, you will receive a free chance to earn the PAL-E certification. This globally recognized certification is backed by Scrum.org.

What does the PAL-E certification look like?

The certification exam has 36 questions. Participants have 60 minutes to complete it. A passing score of 85% is required to achieve the PAL certification. The exam is administered online, so there is no need to go to a testing center. The format is Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, True/False.

Do you need prior Agile experience to take this class?

No, prior experience with Agile is not required. For the best experience, look through the Scrum Guide before taking this class - available at www.ScrumGuides.org.

What are the prerequisites for taking the PAL-E class?

There are no prerequisites for attending the PAL-E class.

Can I retake the PAL-E certification exam if I don't pass on my first attempt?

Successful completion of the PAL course earns you an attempt at the PAL exam. That password to take the exam never expires, but if you take the exam within 14 days of completing the course and don’t pass, you will get a second try for free. You may purchase additional retakes for an additional fee if needed.

How long is the PAL-E class?

The PAL-E class typically runs for two days, each with approximately eight hours of instruction. Rebel Scrum offers more flexible options, including an opportunity to take the class in four half-days or three days from 10 AM to 4 PM Central time. Is the PAL-E certification valid for a limited time, or is it lifelong?

The PAL-E certification does not expire, and you do not need additional training to maintain the certification.

Can I attend the PAL-E class remotely?

All of Rebel Scrum's classes are remote at this time. If you would prefer an in-person experience, please schedule a private training for your team. Contact us to discuss private training options.

Are there any ongoing requirements to maintain the PAL-E certification?

There are no ongoing requirements to maintain the PAL-E certification once you have earned it. There are no continuing education requirements. No recertification exam. Once you earn it, it’s yours to keep.
